About project
A private, oceanfront residence positioned on the first line with direct access to the shoreline. The architectural concept merges contemporary European rigour with the emotional depth of Middle Eastern spatial culture, shaping a villa that is both modern and deeply anchored in tradition.
Conceived as a permanent home for a large Arab family, the project balances seclusion, comfort and a refined respect for cultural values.

Main idea — requested a two-storey villa with maximum privacy and a unifying symbolic element that would define the entire home. Special attention was given to the façade expression and the interior ambience — the house was to feel light, open and effortlessly functional.
The central idea of the project is to allow nature to become an essential architectural gesture. A living tree, transported from the client’s ancestral estate in Lebanon, anchors the villa as a symbol of family continuity and life.
The architectural composition is organised around this natural core: circulation, zoning and visual axes converge to create a harmonious whole, with the tree acting as the spiritual centre of the home.

The villa is designed in a language of functional minimalism, enriched with Eastern plasticity and subtle references to Chinese and Japanese architecture — wide overhangs, softened horizontals and a sense of meditative balance.
The façades combine the grounded solidity of stone planes on the first level with a lighter timber-clad upper volume.
Panoramic glazing and warm natural materials give the house an airy, luminous presence despite its scale.

Upon entering the ground floor, a glass volume with wood accents immediately draws the eye, flooding it with natural light. It is surrounded by a spacious living room and relaxation area. The kitchen is also located here, complete with a separate utility kitchen to keep the main living area as clean and quiet as possible. This area also includes a study, a play area, and two bedrooms for guests and older family members. Closer to the rear of the property are rooms for the staff and driver, each with a separate entrance and separate from the main residential areas.
The second floor is the private portion of the house. It features a master suite with separate bathrooms and walk-in closets for the couple, three children's bedrooms, and a family living area ideal for private gatherings. All bedrooms have access to balconies: some overlook the ocean, others the courtyard and the greenery of the community. The layout accommodates the family's lifestyle, preserving each member's privacy and creating comfortable spaces for shared relaxation.

It features a master suite with separate bathrooms and walk-in closets for the couple, three children's bedrooms, and a family living area ideal for private gatherings. The house is constructed of monolithic concrete filled with locally sourced block, with a layer of thermal insulation inside to maintain coolness. The structure was designed with the region's climate in mind, employing an inverted thermal insulation system to prevent overheating.
The façades feature a ventilated system clad in Iranian white stone on the ground floor and thermo-ash wood imported from Italy on the second floor. Panoramic glazing maximizes light and provides a visual connection to the ocean.
