Lion — France

The core idea is a U-shaped composition that forms a courtyard protected from neighbouring plots.
The community is designed without fences, so the façades are kept as natural and “earth-toned” as possible. The house is oriented inward: the living spaces open toward the pool and patio, while the outer perimeter remains calm and discreet.

The architectural language follows functional minimalism: clean horizontals, composed volumes, and slender glazing frames.
A contrast between the lighter “daytime” block and the darker “nighttime” block emphasises functional zoning.
The exterior is finished with stone, timber, large-format porcelain stoneware and metal panels on a ventilated façade system. Panoramic sliding windows with slender profiles visually dissolve the boundary between interior and landscape.
A key accent of the project is the patio with a fireplace and an “open-sky pocket” above it.

All major functions are located on one level. The living area combines the kitchen, dining room, and living room with access to the terrace and pool; the private area includes two bedrooms and bathrooms facing the courtyard. The garage provides convenient access to the house. The zoning allows for different scenarios: relaxation by the water, family gatherings in the common area, and quiet in the bedrooms.

The house is constructed of monolithic concrete, with clinker brick walls. The curtain walls are finished with natural stone, wood, porcelain stoneware, and metal. The panoramic windows are energy-efficient and adapted to the mild climate. Heating, ventilation, and humidification systems are provided, along with concealed ducted air conditioners. The pool has an overflow system, and the technical components are concealed under the terrace deck.
