About project
A contemporary villa complex located on Bali’s southern coast, set within a scenic landscape with panoramic views of the tropical surroundings. The development comprises 80 villas of three sizes, unified by a coherent architectural language and a shared natural aesthetic.

Main idea — to create a premium villa complex for resale and short-term rental. The design required balanced units in terms of size and cost, ensuring privacy for each villa while preserving panoramic views and maintaining high site density.
The concept is based on “cascading architecture,” with villas arranged on the slope in terraces so that each unit enjoys unobstructed views. The overall composition forms a gentle “bowl” in the landscape, creating a secluded oasis. Green roofs allow views of greenery from upper villas instead of mechanical structures, while local plants and palms reinforce the connection to nature and the Balinese ambiance.
The villas are designed in a modern minimalist language with a tropical character. Simple volumes, generous roof overhangs, and open spaces create a light, airy appearance, while the use of natural materials highlights the local context.
Construction employs local techniques and materials, including decorative concrete, wooden panels, and locally sourced Balinese limestone. Each villa features an infinity-edge pool, terrace, and patio. The structure is based on a reinforced concrete frame, with flat roofs executed as monolithic slabs engineered for seismic resilience.

Each villa is designed as a self-contained living unit. At the center is an open living area with a kitchen, island, and dining area. The bedrooms are separated from the common areas and have separate entrances from the street. Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and opens onto a private terrace overlooking the pool. This design allows guests to feel secluded while maintaining a visual connection with nature.
The complex's structural system is based on a reinforced concrete frame with locally-made block infill walls. All calculations were performed taking into account the region's seismic activity, guaranteeing the durability and safety of the structures.
The flat roofs are constructed of monolithic slabs with waterproofing and landscaping, visually creating a unified landscape throughout the complex.
