About the project
The Goa project comprises two premium contemporary villas situated on a sloping site with a height difference of approximately 15 metres. The houses are designed in accordance with VASTU philosophy, which guided the planning structure, entrance placement, and orientation to the cardinal points.
Both villas are connected by a shared leisure area with a water feature and an art sculpture, forming the emotional heart of the ensemble. The project integrates the natural topography, contemporary architecture, and Eastern principles of harmony

Main idea — to create two houses of equal scale but different functions: a main family residence and a guest house that can serve as independent accommodation or be rented. The architecture had to respect VASTU principles, integrate organically with the complex terrain, and preserve privacy and panoramic views.
The primary idea was to embed the architecture into the natural slope without disrupting its form. Thanks to the natural height difference, the houses appear single-storey from the road but reveal themselves as full two-storey villas from the opposite side.
The space between the villas became a focal point, featuring a decorative pond, sculptural composition, and fire pit, unifying both villas into a cohesive architectural whole.

The architectural solution follows the principles of functional minimalism and harmonious landscape integration. The villa composition mirrors the hill lines, as if carved into the slope.
Façades combine natural stone, timber, and glass. German Schüco glazing profiles, large-format Italian porcelain tiles, and premium local wood for soffits and façade insets are employed.
Generous roof overhangs and wide terraces protect the interiors from harsh sun and tropical rain, while glass balustrades preserve uninterrupted valley views.
The two buildings are visually linked by a shared staircase and consistent architectural logic, yet remain structurally independent.

The main villa is entered from the upper level, facing the road. This floor houses a small reception area and two bedrooms facing the sunny side of the property. Below, at ground level, is a spacious living area with a fireplace, a kitchen, and a dining room, all of which open onto a terrace and patio area with a fire pit. A summer kitchen and outdoor seating area are located nearby.
The second villa follows a similar layout, but with a different distribution of functions: the upper level contains two bedrooms, while the ground floor is entirely dedicated to a spacious living area with a kitchen and utility room for staff.
Each bedroom has its own bathroom and dressing room, making them fully functional master bedrooms. The houses are positioned offset from each other, ensuring that their private spaces do not visually overlap, and each bedroom offers a different view—of the hills, an art object, or a body of water.

Engineering solutions include ventilation using concealed Invisible grilles, a drainage system with a drainage channel along the perimeter of the property, and outdoor lighting that highlights the architecture at night.
